Formic acid

85% formic acid is an organic chemical compound used in the food and feed industry.

It has strong fungicidal and bactericidal properties.

Often used as a preservative and acidifying agent. Perfectly dissolves in water. When used as a food additive, it appears under the designation E236.

Timol

Thymol is an organic compound with strong antifungal, antiparasitic and antibacterial properties. It is used in the feed and food industries as well as in the manufacture of cosmetics.

It is also used in beekeeping to eliminate or control varroosis.

Thymol is an effective expectorant and disinfectant, with an antitussive effect. It has relaxing and analgesic effects too and stimulates urination. It has a beneficial effect on the digestive system, as it stimulates digestive juices and intestinal enzymes.

It also alleviates inflammation.
