Lauric acid, also known as dodecanoic acid, is an organic compound. It is a natural ingredient of coconut oil and bay laurel fruit. It is a safe and non-toxic substance. It is widely used in the manufacture of animal feeds and skin care products, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
